Plan limits
What the free plan allows and what Pro raises it to.
Every number on this page is generated from the app's own configuration when these docs are built, so it matches what the app actually enforces.
Recording and audio#
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Length of a single recording or import | 5 minutes | 60 minutes |
| Total audio stored | 60 minutes (1 hour) | 10,000 minutes (about 167 hours) |
The per item cap applies to recording and to importing equally. A file you import cannot be longer than a recording you could have made.
Writing tools#
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Requests | 7 total | 5,000 per month |
Lighter requests are metered separately and more generously: 40 on free, 20,000 per month on Pro. The high-frequency features draw on this lighter pool, which is why they do not eat your main allowance: in-line suggestions and the rhyme sheet's AI picks.
The two pools are not sealed off from each other. Once the lighter pool is used up, lighter requests start drawing on the main one instead, so the main number is the real ceiling. Your total across both is the two numbers added together, and never more.
Rhyme lookups#
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Lookups | 30 per day | Unlimited |
You are warned when you are down to your last 10 lookups for the day.
What happens at a limit#
Limits announce themselves. Recording past the length cap stops the take and says so. Importing an over length file is refused with the file's length in the message. Running out of lookups tells you when they reset.
Nothing is deleted when you hit a limit, and nothing fails silently.
